My daredevil converted as the directors cut even though it said theatrical cut when I added it. I converted Anchorman because I could have sworn that it said unrated but I got the theatrical cut and that was a BIG disappointment. I could be wrong as is the case alot of times. But, I usually back out of the program when it doesn't state the actual movie I want. Another weird one was We bought a zoo. I converted the bluray and it said from blu cost $2.00. I had it in a big order so I had to delete it when I went to do a small order this past weekend. Well, after adding it again it came up as the dvd. LOL after about 10 tries it finally came up as the blu ray again. So, I didn't take anymore chances and added it to my account right then. Weird how it read as the dvd 10 of 12 tries. Did I mention I was very upset about getting the Theatrical cut of Anchorman? I don't really want to bother them with it this time. I probably get on their nerves with all my tickets.

French disc of The Jacket does not recognize on the d2d program. Was about to add it to my cloud but it doesn't read. Will have to add to my WalMart order.

Sorry - forgot this category (only the one title), and according to the website this title is eligible:

"This disc is not eligible for Disc to Digital, please insert another disc or try again later.":

            Insidious (Blu-ray)

I'm sorry if these have been mentioned, but with 40 pages, it's hard to read them all.

I get errors on a LOT of Columbia/Tri-Star DVDs. I had a few converted in the store after getting at-home errors. The most recent unrecognized titles that I had were:

              Hard Eight
              Can't Hardly Wait
              Candyman

All three of them Columbia/Tri-Star titles

I just tried Lara Croft: Tomb Raider from Blu-ray and it didn't work. It looks like it can be converted from DVD, though, strangely. I'm not sure if it's mentioned here already. Sorry if it is. There are just so many pages. It would be great if there was a Google Doc spreadsheet or something.

Oh, and my Brother was complaining that his 50th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray of Psycho didn't work. But I see that someone already mentioned Psycho above.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is only D2D eligible for the DVD, for some reason the Bluray is not currently eligible.

See the first post of this sticky thread for the Google Doc of eligible titles spreadsheet .

Have you (or anyone) seen any posts/confirmation that there is actually a studio determined eligibility difference for discs (like back to the future) vs. it being simply a D2D database issue? I've not taken any titles into the store yet so I don't know if they would reject these titles.

If you put in the 3rd one or it may be the extra's disc, all three will show. But you need to make sure you go to the online site http://www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html and delete out the versions it saved there or it will continue to add the SD version to your D2D cart.

I assume eligibility is determined by the studio, it may have been mentioned once by one of the mods, but I am not sure. I would hope that Vudu would have added the non eligible discs if they had control, after being pointed out numerous times.
I doubt you would get a non eligible disc to work because I think the process still uses the database, but I suppose someone may accept a Blu-ray as a DVD and charge the DVD rate .

On the first page of this thread I reported 2 movies that were only showing as DVD being available (Salt extended and Priest unrated) and they were fixed a short time later so who knows. Maybe Vudu does have a hand in it.

And since we are on the subject....

Date Night DVD (Unrated/Rated flipper disc)-024543665311 Both sides read as theatrical and Vudu does not give an option for unrated dvd, only blu ray.

UPDATE: Except for "Psycho" (which apparently isn't available for D2D from Blu-ray), the entire Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection [Blu-ray] also generates the "Unable to identify this disc." error (14 titles):
                                The Birds
                                Family Plot
                                Frenzy
The Man Who Knew Too Much
                                Marnie
                                North By Northwest
                                Rear Window
                                Rope
                                Saboteur
                                Shadow of a Doubt
                                Topaz
                                Torn Curtain
                                Trouble with Harry, The
                                Vertigo
Did you try "North by Northwest"? I was able to get it to work as well. And you can pay for the SD price on the Psycho disc and email them a picture of your disc and they will upgrade it to Blu. The others don't work yet.
