        So I am trying to convert my blu ray movies using my new blu ray drive.

        On Windows 10 X64.

        I downloaded the Vudu software. I insert the blu ray disc and get told "There was a problem while verifying this disc."

        What does that mean exactly?

        EVERY blu ray movie I try has this come up.

          Rock of Ages Extended Edition Bluray (Bluray/DVD Set) - Recognizes both the Bluray and DVD as DVD
          The Boondock Saints II:All Saint's Day Bluray - Recognizes Bluray as a DVD
          Empire Records Bluray - Doesn't Recognize it at all.

            I have an odd issue.

            I first added Pulp Fiction DVD to my checkout basket via Vudo To Go application. I then deleted it from my checkout basket before purchasing anything. I then added the Blu-ray version of Pulp Fiction and selected the HDX option. After this, in my basket, it still shows the DVD version and SD version is selected. I've tried on two different computers. Same issue.


            This is also happened with Dangerous Liaisons.

            Seems like Vudu keeps track of discs you you add but don't buy and gets confused when you re-add the as blu-ray copies. This has to be a bug and it needs to be fixed.

            Is there a work around to this issue?

              If you look that is a Mill Creek Re-Release. i have never had one work on the inhome service. they do take them at the instore service

                I have the same issue but opposite: I was able to receive the five movies, but not Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. It has been quite frustrating.

                  Weird. I have the original series blu ray set and was able to convert all of them without a problem.

                      Is this thread still being monitored by the guys/gals at VUDU? I haven't seen action or response in quite some time. If it is, the following two titles were unrecognized by the VUDU application BUT were recognized by the CinemaNow Application.

                        I'm not sure if it is, but you probably want to add them to the Disc-to-Digital spreadsheet (through the form listed in the first post of the "Disc To Digital Title List"). That also allows you to see if anyone else reported the problem.

                            Yes, go to http://www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html and you'll see a list of movies you've entered for conversion. Delete the dvd version and then retry your blu-ray. This should clear everything up for you.

                                The 40 Year Old Virgin (unrated)
                                The Wedding Crashers (uncorked) Does not show on the list nor on Vudu unless sold with the Hall Pass (Enlarged edition)
