    Correct.

I think the overriding issue here is that it erodes confidence. It's been weeks and this still isn't fixed. It cannot be that difficult to determine which TV episodes are included in a "full series".

It's not like we're talking about bonus content, extended versions, etc. We're simply missing the actual episodes.

I imagine we'll all know at about the same time...once the episode that is missing becomes available!

Secondarily though, I sure would like for Vudu to also show that I own the seasons instead of individual episodes. That's not as critical though.

Yeah, that would be nice if Vudu would recognize that you own every episode that you own the season.

I agree. Don't need someone in my family accidentally buying the seasons I already have (season 5 and the final season). I redeemed the UV code, giving me all the episodes, just not all the special features.

Any news on the missing episode or they don't care anymore.

I would like to know as well. It has been well over a month since it came out. I opened a second ticket with Vudu support inquiring about this on 12/22, and got the standard response that "the issue is currently being worked on" ... and my ticket was closed, yet the episode is still not available! I am sure content tech support has been working on this "non-stop" since it came out 5-6 weeks ago!!! (yeah, right!)

The holidays are probably not helping, it's almost impossible to get anything done between thanksgiving, Christmas and New years.

That's the only complaint I have with Vudu is that they take forever (if not never) to fix some issues, especially if they need to get a new encode from the studio. I have one case open since August 4, 2012 where I'm still waiting on a new encode from the studio according to Vudu.

In order to get this corrected, please contact the provider where you redeemed the code at. We have contacted Sony various times and they have assured us that we are using the correct "UNCENSORED" ALID's for the show. Looks like there are some providers out there that are still using outdated "BROADCAST" ALID's. All providers are supposed to be using "UNCENSORED" ALID's.

The only problem is that when I contacted Sony, they told me that the issue was on Vudu's end. That was before they fixed most of the episodes. I don't understand how if they figured out how to fix almost all of them, it is so hard to fix one more.

To the Forum Moderator: It is easy to pass the buck on to the consumers, and when we contact Sony, they point the fingers back at you. When I contacted Vudu Customer Support on 12/22, the response I got was:

"Response Via Email (Heather G) 12/22/2013 06:23 PM

                              Hello,

Thank you for contacting VUDU Customer Care. I apologize for the inconvenience and frustration. This issue is currently being worked on in between VUDU and the production studios. We appreciate your patience.

What changed? There was a clear problem with multiple episodes, that was a disconnect between Sony and Vudu. All but one were fixed (Season 4, Episode 13 still missing as stated multiple times by all affected). Now, all of a sudden, you are directing us back to Sony (while Sony is directing us to you), so we are all left in limbo, and it sounds like Vudu is washing its hands off of this, based on your last statement. Man, as nice as Vudu's storefront is and availability of titles, to buy, Customer Service has been absolutely useless the few times I have contacted it. "You always appreciate our patience and business..." while not once has customer service provided any actual help or service! Up until today, we have been told on and on and on that the problem is being addressed ("even currently") by Vudu content team and Sony and now, out of a sudden, you are sending us packing! There are truly no words to describe the frustration!

Vudu has no way to make changes to the ALID that another provider has on their system. It's just not possible. They are the only ones that can make those changes. We can clearly see where the break occurs and it's pointing to the other provider. I don't know how else I can make this clearer for you folks. We get these ALID's from Sony and have verified these over and over with them.
