So far, VUDU has not responded.

The issue - as explained - is that some titles bought in UHD (either non-MA or MA) have simply disappeared from VUDU if bought. They don't even downgrade to a lesser resolution (unless you owned the lower res licenses).

If you owned HDX Sharknado, then bought the UHD Sharknado bundle - you can still see Sharknado in HDX thanks to your old license. If you ONLY bought Sharknado because it went UHD - it's gone for you. Like you never bought it.

For MA titles - your UHD license still exists, but if you didn't have the lower-res license ... the UHD (nor HDX) title doesn't show up at VUDU.

FelipeF - will you ask VUDU to look at this, please? Movies paid for are not showing up as purchased. Even if the UHD encode is not available, the licenses still should be honored and the HDX be visible.

FelipeF - this similar problem occurred with the Lethal Weapon bundles, which was fixed and made whole (see previous thread): 4 Film Favorites: Lethal Weapon (Bundle) (607176) - HD purchases removed

I purchased Hannie Caulder (81932) through D2D in December and it was taken from me on March 18. No credit was given on that date or the December date of purchase. This was not simply downgraded, this is completely GONE from my account. I hope this title and the others get resolved soon.

Is that title still available for sale and / or rent?

When you try to play it are you searching for the title or are looking in your my movies collection?

What does your purchase in account section say. Is the paid title still there?

This is still a problem for many of these titles. LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash for sure.

I currently show the following VUDU ID have this UHD downgrade to HDX / disappear issue.

NOTE: 5 of the 6 SHARKNADO titles have been fixed (all 6 were in a UHD SHARKNADO BUNDLE)

                  Here's the issue - in a nutshell:

When VUDU took away the higher resolution encode of the movie (perhaps resolution they didn't actually have rights to?)
                  - they killed the whole movie for some people. If you had previously bought in a lower resolution - you could still see the movie, thanks to that other license. But if you bought straight to the high resolution - and that resolution was removed - THE MOVIE WENT BYE-BYE (not downgraded).

Same thing for the HD to SD (Land Before Time and the Hannie Caulder titles).

If you ONLY bought UHD title at VUDU that was MA, but Vudu took away the UHD encode - you don't see the movie at VUDU AT ALL (the MA license still exists and you "could" watch it at MA, I guess - although that's not the point).

For some reason, VUDU won't even let you watch that MA movie in HDX at VUDU from your UHD MA license - it's just "gone" for you entirely.

And in the same scenario - if the UHD you bought was non-MA - the movie just disappears (it doesn't simply downgrade to HDX or whatever resolution VUDU has). It just disappears.

FelipeF - can we ask VUDU to look into this? It's been going on a while now. See known ID issues below.

This also just happened to Paradise Road (Director's Cut) as the HDX was pulled and now it only shows SD.

Paradise Road (Director's Cut) downgraded to SD for me as well. I paid for HD and expected to keep it in HD. There is no way that I would willingly pay $9.99 for an SD movie.
