This just happened again with:

Night Flight (Downgraded from HDX to SD) 347608

This makes me concerned about the future in digital movies, the increasing number of silence unresolved removal or downgrade of films from "our" "libraries."

This is the third movie that has been removed from my library in less than a year. It would be great if Vudu could figure out why this keeps happening and stop it from happening in the future.

It's not only downgrades but paying for a movie in HD and then only being able to play it back in SD. I bought the title "The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima" in HD, but I'm only able to play it back in SD. Why would Vudu offer the title to purchase in HD if they only have the SD version? I've reported the issue but only got the usual, "it's being escalated" which I'm almost sure means, I won't hear back from them.

I am no longer purchasing movies at Vudu until this is fixed and made right. This is very concerning! VUDU used to be better than this.

What is going on with you guys!? Surviving the game just went missing from my library. And like 20 movies have left before that. Why should I spend money to purchase these movies when you remove them without notice and no refunds?????

Surviving the Game was removed from my Vudu library as well.
Movies Anywhere says I own it in HD.
That's two for me after Suicide Squad UHD.
Fix your issues Vudu.

Come on Vudu you can do better than this. Plenty of other places I can buy movies and they don’t take them from me.

ah… I was wondering where these features all went. This is the second thing that’s occurred for me recently (and although the first was fixed), it makes me extremely nervous that I’m gonna lose something soon.

I'm wondering if some of these titles were mislabeled on Vudu as UHD or HD to begin with (and MA shows that you own the higher resolution), and now they have been corrected on Vudu.

There are a few films in my library that MA shows as 4K, yet no one has those films in 4K (Captain Underpants, 12 Monkeys, Big Miracle, Tremors).

Some of the more recent titles you guys have mentioned such as Surviving the Game are only available in SD at other retailers, while Daphne & Velma is only available in HD at other retailers.

Night Flight, though, is available elsewhere in HD, so that is an anomaly and worth complaining to Vudu about (of just stream it elsewhere, since it is MA eligible).

But many of you do have a good point - something has happened to Vudu since it merged with FandangoNow, as this used to be THE movie store for those without an Apple TV device, but those days seem to be long gone.

Yes, I agree. Support also used to be very good when they were owned by Walmart. Support is now the same as it was when FandangoNow was running, which was very poor.

Yeah, I sure miss the ability to track a ticket online, something Vudu used to offer its customers.
