    Re: Walmart vudu promotions

I saw the Iron Man 3 pre-order at Wal-mart yesterday for $24.96. I may be wrong but I read the package and there is no mention of a VUDU copy of Iron Man 3, just the blu-ray combo pack with a digital copy (assuming iTunes).

There were some extras such a digital comic and an app, plus a couple of "sneak peaks" of other shows on VUDU.

I passed on it because I would only want the VUDU copy of Iron Man 3. I was disappointed by the offer to be honest.

It was more of special features, digital comic book etc. If they still have it I will take some pictures of it. I am just excited that this would be the second Disneyish movie release on vudu the first being toy story 3.
So it does include a VUDU copy of Iron Man 3? If so, what's the date when it goes active? It's worth preordering this since the eventual Blu-ray release from Disney will almost certainly only included an iTunes digital copy.

That's what I assumed as well since Disney bought the franchise we get screwed on any back titles and future titles of coming with a UV code

This won't be the last BIG blockbuster movie that comes out this year that will have a preorder done on it before the movie comes out in theaters.

And I hope people don't get hung up on the term "digital code" in the description for what's going to be on the Iron Man 3 release. It sure isn't the same as UltraViolet code ?

Some of them offered movie cash to se the movie which was emailed to you before the movie came out and then the movie was mailed out at video release date after film. In some cases if you canceled the video purchase but used the movie money they deducted it from the return price.

I think the first movie was Ted from last year where they did the pre-order a month or more before the film even came out in theaters.

Have you tried unlinking your UV and then relinking to see if that triggers an update for new UV titles that were previously not UV? I posted this on another topic because I forgot where this was

I still think its odd that they have a non UV sku and a separate UV sku and just don't upgrade them all to UV like Vudu does.
Oh that's terrible and I agree, very odd. I guess I'm gonna be screwed out of LOTR EEs and Twilight Saga now -.- However what is odd is that LOTR EE is UV but they said only the SD is UV. Anything I can do?
