Some states would like you to pay uncollected taxes when you file your income tax return. So even if you aren't changed for it, you may be obligated to pay it anyway. Virginia does this and it sucks.

In Texas if you don't pay tax at the time of purchase. You can't really pay the state or city because we don't have state income tax.

Many years ago I called Walmart.com Customer Service to complain about online taxes - I was told to call them and they would refund the taxes on my online orders. I believe whoever built the Walmart.com tax database just arbitrarily added DC sales tax to the mix because they assumed, just like you, there is a Walmart in every state. Not so.
Technically speaking, DC isn't a state.

Wizard of Oz 70th Anniversary Blu Ray not recognized, gave this error message:

There was an error while verifying this disc. Please try again later or contact
                      Customer Care.

Sound of Music 45th anniversary Blu Ray and DVD recognized as sing along version.

Lord of the Rings Extended edition Blu Ray trilogy all recognized as the first movie Fellowship of the ring. Also says I already have it in my library, but I have the regular edition and not the extended edition in my library.

The disc is UV enabled. The issue is that Vudu doesn't have the title in its catalog, only the original version.

Heh, this is exactly why debugging this stuff is a nightmare.

This kind of stuff is why they were asking if the titles came from a box set or were individual purchases, as well as the UPC when possible.

I haven't done my first six Star Trek movies yet, but they're all part of the same box set and will likely all come up as the same film as a result.

One way Vudu could resolve the Box set coming up with the Same ID for each disc is to allow the customer to pick which they want, or all.

It shouldn't require that. Two different movies will not have have the same disc identification, unless they are on the same disc. This is a problem with Gracenote and/or the way VUDU handles discs that are part of box sets and also sold separately.
