If you add it up, it makes 50.5% market share for UV only, 70% UV + iTunes. and 85% iTunes + vudu/amazon.

it does seem clear as good crystal to me that the UltraViolet ecosystem / DECE has the high ground and inertia.

There is a phrase, "A rising tide lifts all boats".

I do not think membership numbers have anywhere to go but up.

After doing further research, I've learned that Much Ado About Nothing was not the first UV only disc from Lionsgate. I believe the first was Tyler Perry's Temptation, on July 9th. I guess this one slipped under the radar, as did Peeples.

The Family, from Relativity Media, coming out 12/17 includes UV, and it's their first UV title. Great news they are finally coming on board. I am looking forward for catalog product.

Yes, the DVD/Blu-ray is being released by Fox, but the digital version is being released by Relativity. The Paranoia DVD/Blu-ray was also distributed by FOX, and it was not UltraViolet, so clearly, there is a change.

Although I am not interested in these titles, I am interested in Free Birds, which will be coming out next year.

Unfortunately when it comes to Relativity if it's released solely by them it's not uv. If it's distributed by a uv company like fox then there is a chance of it being uv like Haywire was. So technically haywire would have been their first uv title and unfortunately nothing's changed yet. Relativity is the oddball, grab bag of the UV scene.

It is being released by Relativity. Look at the info page on vudu, and Amazon Instant. They also told me a while back that they would be going UV soon.

Haywire also says relativity on vudu but it's not on the home video. Once they release something solely released by them then that would be saying something. Unfortunately the home video is being released by fox. http://www.gotham-news.com/news/2013...-blu-ray-dvd-d

On the plus side relativity has a distribution deal with fox so we can hope for more uv releases in the future even if it's by fox. Even if it's not 100% Relativity.

Fox has a contract with Relativity, so it has released all the discs for the last 3 years from what I can tell. Before that they were with Universal, so I don't believe they have ever done the physical discs for themselves.

                      Movie 43 = no UV.

Now, it looks like all are. Perhaps Haywire was an acid test for them or something and their bean counters have given the go ahead now.

Regardless, I am going to agree with Mr. EP and move them out of the iTunes only designation until they release a title that is again iTunes only. If they do, I guess we can figure out where they should rest then.

...table updated. That was the last iTunes Only domino to fall. iTunes now has zero percent exclusive of the digital copy market.

When "The Family" hits the shelves, I will get a snapshot of it to confirm the Digital Copy method is UV only and add the image to the table in their row.

I think that's a bit pre-mature. While I agree that they are UV by default because of their affiliation with Fox, The Wolverine (which is Fox) came with an Itunes copy too. I think they may still be Itunes also if Fox is releasing them. The cover language on the Family is identical to the language on The Wolverine per an Amazon search. Digital HD. I'd say leave Relativity as UV and Itunes until confirmed. Chances are when the movie is released it will have an Itunes copy attached to it as well.

looking at the jacket on Amazon, it appears to be UV exclusive.

I will adjust accordingly if need be once I have a physical copy in my hands.

Relativity aside, fox is still iTunes. Just not on 100% of thier releases. I have a copy of the Woverine and can verify this so that should be changed on your chart. They are not uv only.
