    I see that the Disc-to-Digital free $2 credit for signing up has been extended as well. I didn't bother signing up before because I first saw this deal on the last few days (from the previous deadline) and I love my Flixster. (That and I've always heard bad things about Vudu support even though I've heard the Vudu streaming service itself is good.) Now that it is extended, I signed up today. But when I tried to checkout using the VuduToGo app, the $2 credit doesn't show at all and it wants me to use a credit card!

    Do you think this will be fixed soon?

    The expiration date was finally updated to June 30, 2014 in the Terms and Conditions section for the In Home Disc-to-Digital program.

    Yes, I've done web sites and applications for close to 20 years now and all it takes is 2 seconds to change the date so I don't know why they haven't done that yet?

    I did +95% of my D2D transactions in the store. I did so for two reasons:
    1. I do not own a computer with a BRD
    2. I knew it would always work

    Also, my D2D cycle was very slow. I am not a rich man and I only paid cash. It took me about 18 months to exhaust my physical collection. I really looked forward to my trips into the store to complete another D2D transaction. I would not of enjoyed it as much had I just been clicking a mouse in isolation.

    Hopefully Vudu will fix the issues of so many movies not being recognized using in house D2D. It sucks I have to pay 5.00 per movie in store because the at home says "disc has trouble being validated" or worse "disc not recognized" then when it asks for the title it says, "once we have verification, we will email you".     The price discount sure will be missed but not so much the beta. I look forward to having titles corrected in a timely manner now that the beta ends today. It was great knowing you D2D beta unfortuntely all things must come to an end.

    Just checked Twitter and Facebook and no mention of an extension either, so nothing official yet that I can find.

    No Walmart does not honor the 50% off. I took several into Walmart because I am still having trouble with error message. I was disappointed and it was quite a hassle to have them done in the store and the lady at the counter wasn't real happy with dealing with the conversion. unless I can figure out how to get results at home I doubt If I will take anymore into the store.
