The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Did one. Wizard of Oz but it was only available in SD. Going through a divorce and going to try to D2D any movies She wants to keep and this makes it pretty easy for our dvd copies. Once vudu's version comes out I'll ditch cinemanow since i don't care for it that much.

    Maybe it will only accept one of the two pressings for that movie. In 2011 Lionsgate gained distribution rights for the movie, so I'm guessing the previous version would be read as a different disc than Lionsgate's re-release

    A lot of dvd's from the list come up either with the "does not support burned disks" or "please insert a vaild disk" errors. Sin City is one of them for me

    I bought some CinemaNow credit on ebay to test out the service. One issue so far, can't convert Blade Runner: The Final Cut (2010 DVD), looks like maybe it will only accept the 2-disc version released in 2007

    ive had issues with putting dvds in and it coming up as a different movie, like money train comes up as anaconda, they both have Jennifer lopez in them tho! lol!

    Really? I've never had a problem getting the correct version through Walmart. At least not with the movies I've done. I have both versions of a lot of movies. King Kong, Donnie darko, all of The Lord of the rings movies, watchmen, etc. you have to take the movies twice, but the vudu d2d system works fine at giving me the version I asked for. Ill probably take my The Town disc in there to get the extended version.

    As discussed elsewhere, this is fairly common with Vudu, as well.
    Edit: Rather, you have to be careful which version you select (the Wal-Mart employees don't care, so you 'can' pick whichever version you want). With respect to some other things such as Aspect ratio and Audio tracks, you get what you get.

    It seems to not be good at telling versions apart. It says a few of my extended editions (the Town, Harry Potter) are the theatrical. I've had a few unrated editions come up with the rated version even though according to the list both versions are available.

    Woo-hoo! With the last software update, the CinemaNow app is finally recognizing DVDs on my MacBook Pro!

    But it insists my Extended Edition versions of the LOTR movies are the "Special Extended Edition" (from the thumbnail and info I am sure it is incorrect), and says that one is not available for D2D. DOH!

    I suppose using a giftcard might serve a similar function, but I agree that a shopping cart of some sort makes sense. They do that on the website, you can pirxhase multiple movies in one go, so maybe they could just have them add to cart instead of auto-charging.

    Yes. I've done more than 25, but they were spread out over the weeks since it began.

    I've done over thirty. It appears the 25 limit is for doing that many too quickly that locks the system down. Spreading out purchases allows more than twenty five. I did 10, waited 24 hours, and did another set, etc.

    I ran into that problem too. I think they need to come up with a way to do ask how many we're going to convert, do a single preauthorization, and do a single settlement with our bank when we finish.
