This can't be correct - as I have titles in MYUV locker that are from Vudu in-home D2D I did on a secondary VUDU account which are no longer porting to my main VUDU account. This is not an "other provider" problem.

I agree with what the others posted - when I said I lost titles it wasn't by comparing my UV locker to what was showing up on Vudu. It was by comparing how many I have on Vudu now compared to what I had in there just 5 days ago.

Also, to further make the point of how the ALID thing makes no sense - if you look at Favre316's list of movies he's missing - I have about a dozen of those titles NOT missing from my Vudu account, all D2D through Vudu. For this explanation to be true, we should both be missing them.

As a customer, I'm not going to put any further effort into fixing Vudu's problems when I can simply switch to using the M-Go app instead.

For example, if your show 1000 movie rights in UV, that does not necessarily mean you'll have 1000 movies on Vudu. Many user UV accounts contain duplicate rights for the same movie, invalid ALIDs, and/or international ALIDs. I was not comparing them, but I knew my Vudu collection number, and there is NO WAY they changed that many ALIDs out of nowhere. Besides, the titles that disappeared, if any, were random, so the ALID thing would make no sense

    Felipe,

I'm not comparing my UV locker to my vudu. My vudu count was over 2700. It's now in the 2500 range. My sub accounts, all had 2600. Now all of them have between 1400 and 1600. I have lost every uv non vudu purchase. All non vudu d2d. I've lost complete vudu d2d transactions. I've lost straight up cash purchases. They have flat out disappeared. They show in my balance and history, not in my vudu library. I know this because I took four hours of my own time to compare my library and my history. In short, you guys lost movies on people's accounts. This is not people comparing their UV locker count with their vudu.

Right, I had movies in my Vudu library last Sunday that are no longer showing today. So, they transferred just fine before all the people in this thread noticed the issue earlier this week.

In short, Vudu needs to keep investigating.

I am not making it up, I swear.

It was obvious there was an issue when my vudu movie count decreased by hundreds. The missing movies still show as owned elsewhere and are playable there.

I can make a complete list but I do not have the time nor do I see the point.

Only now am I thinking how this has never happened with my physical Blu-ray or DVD collection...

Hopefully today will have some news and we will not have to wait into next week!

Thank you to vudu for looking in to this issue.

    Re: Missing Movies

I did a one-to-one check of my own library, and everything is there. However, in addition to UVVU.com sorting many titles by "The", which was an issue that I was already looking for, I did notice that some items have very different titles on the two sites (e.g., "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on Vudu is "William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream" on UVVU.com). Searching for "A Mighty Wind" on UVVU.com came up empty at first...because they have it titled as "Mighty Wind, A"! Or sometimes it just defies any logic -- the alphabetical list on UVVU suddenly veers off after "Curious George" to list Election, How to Train Your Dragon, then Stardust, before returning to Dallas Buyers Club.

I'm not saying you all aren't missing movies, I'm just saying that unless you've done a search for each item by one or two title words, it's POSSIBLE that SOME of the items just may not be where you'd expect to find them. And I only have about 500-odd items, so it wasn't too hard for me to check. Just trying to narrow down the problem; IME, the more specific and rigorous you are in defining the problem, the faster you can get someone to fix it.
