I'm still waiting on the exe file download to be un-corrupt. I've tried about two dozen times over the last month to get this software and every time I download it and attempt to install it tells me it's corrupt. Lame.

Neither disc of the 2-disc Digibook Blu-Ray of "How the West Was Won" identified correctly.
The 1st disc got a "There was a problem while verifying this disc" message, while the 2nd disc got a "Unable to Identify this disc" message...

I received the following from Vudu customer service:

"I took a look into this for you and it seems that if the movie is not supported for PC playback the same will apply to any of the Android devices."

So PC Support = Android Support

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

    rdodolak, MaxH,

Thanks for the clarifications...but this raises a few additional questions:

How do I know what devices are supported for any given film? When I view a title on my Xbox, logos/icons are shown indicating iOS, PC, and TV....In this case, "PC" is in gray. But when I look at a title on my PC, no logos are displayed, just the "PC not supported" message in the upper right. Do I need to check every title on my Xbox to determine what's what?

What about Android? There are no logos anywhere for that. In reviewing my posts, I realized I mistakenly emphasized PC support. I never watch movies on my PC, but Android is a real concern for me. Does iOS compatibility imply Android compatibility? (I have no idea why it would, I'm just reaching here). Does PC compatibility imply Android? (It seems that way).

Is "TV" always supported? (I am assuming that includes Xbox, DVD/Bluray players, and similar devices, but I'm not sure).

At the end of the day, I've converted almost 400 titles using D2D, so a 0.5% "unsupported" rate is not bad. I can always watch them using a competitors service...no problems there, but I'd sure like to be able to get all my stuff in one place.

Ah, yes, thanks for the correction Max. I probably shouldn't have used Studio as that may be too ambiguous.

By the way, none of that explains my issue with The Italian Job...
The XBox and PC are two different devices even if the software is developed by the same company. I can very well see, and as how I pointed out, how you could use the D2D software to convert a title but then not be allowed to stream or download it on a PC. Just because you're able use the PC software to convert a title doesn't mean that it automatically concludes that this is some kind of error (A doesn't infer B); that was the point I was trying to make. This is similar to how i can redeem an HDX version of a title through the software but I'm not allowed to stream it in HDX or download said film on a PC.

Now the titles you mention may have a problem, particularly The Italian Job. Personally, I would prefer there be no resolution/download restrictions on any device nor do I have an issue with you reporting potential issues.

If I recall correctly, the studios determine whether or not you can stream/download particular titles to a computer/tablet/phone.
